These Flaming River Road Race power rack and pinions are specifically for Road Racers, using a quick ratio design that allows for a rack gain of 2.27 in. per revolution of the pinion. They have an adjustable positive-lock rack gear, which is designed to maintain a positive mesh between the rack gear and the pinion gear during vibration--ideal for road racing applications. The travel, pivot points, length, and inner end dimensions are all customizable to suit a variety of vehicle applications. Plus, the Flaming River Road Race power rack and pinions come with low-profile braided stainless pressure lines for added clearance. The 1 in. diameter rack gear is made of hardened and precision-ground 1040 steel for strength and longevity and features all-new components, including a valve, piston, seals, bearings, bushings, and rack gears that have been fluid and pressure-tested.
